Fort Leonard Wood Garrison Command
The Garrison Command falls under the leadership of the MSCoE, and under the command of the US Army's Installation Management Command. The Garrison Command acts as the Mayor of this large and sprawling installation, in charge of a myriad of logistical support functions for the permanent party personnel assigned to the Installation. Garrison Command controls access to the installation, thus is a key part of the research process.

Fort Leonard Wood, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence
Working with the G3 in the MSCoE, the AENC seeks to find the optimum fit for research and training where TBI's typically occur as a result of training. Because of the various types of training the G3 has the ultimate approval authority for research. It cannot be over-stressed, FLW is about training soldiers, not research. If research can be accomplished without impacting training, it has a greater potential to be successfully accepted. Within the MSCoE are the CBRN School, Military Police School and the Engineers School.

General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital
The GLWACH is the AENC primary link to the Post. AENC works closely with the GLWACH in developing and pursuing appropriate research topics and ideas. The GLWACH also acts as the first line for the Army's Medical Research and Materiel Command and the Commander is the Fort Leonard Wood Liaison to the AENC.

The Leonard Wood Institute primarily focuses on fulfilling the technology and research needs of the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood.

U. S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command
Without the strong interest and support of the USAMRMC, the AENC would simply not exist. This organization is the primary signatory of the Active CRADA. Within the Command structure at MRMC is the DoD Brain Health Research Program Coordinator, Blast Injury Research Program Coordinating Office, as the Medical Advisor to the Principal Assistant for Research and Technology. This individual acts as the MRMC's military Liaison to the AENC.
